By placing an order with Lucky Model, the customer agrees with full understanding of the following terms and conditions of sale.

1. Pricing

We strive to offer our customers with the best possible price on every item in our store, while remaining capable of assuring quality and value in the purchase. As Lucky Model is located at the hub of Asia, our prices, are usually 10% to 50% lower than in North America and Europe. Even with the shipping costs, most products are still a little bit lower than you buy in North America or Europe.

All prices are in US Dollars. No sales tax is charged for all orders.

We offer wholesale pricing, with bulk purchase discounts to dealers or resellers. If you are a hobby retailer, please email us to sales@luckymodel.com and buy from us with the wholesale pricing.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

2. Payment Method

We accept Visa & Mastercard credit cards and direct wire transfer.

All charges will be in US Dollars for direct wire transfer.

All charges will be in Hong Kong Dollars for Visa/Master Credit Card.

Visa or Mastercard

You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our Bank's secure server, which encrypts all submitted information. The credit card information transfer is directly between you and our bank through secure server. Our credit card payment gateway is provided by Shanghai Commercial Bank and all information is using SSL 128 bits encryption for data transfer.

All orders paid by this service will be verified thoroughly before delivery process. Your credit card will be charged automatically.

All charges paid via Visa/Master Credit Card will be in Hong Kong Dollars. We use the exchange rate of US$1 = HK$7.8. For example, when your order amount is US$100, we will charge you HK$780.

LuckyModel.com does currently support the Verified by Visa program. Verified by Visa provides an extra level of protection for online shopping.

If you payment is rejected, please contact your card issuing bank directly for the reasons. Verify by Visa, is applied by some banks recently. Cardholders are required to register before they make any online transactions. If you have entered all valid information of your credit card but still fail to complete the procedure, please refer to the card issued bank for further information about the pin security feature or simply use another credit card to complete the transaction.

Alternatively, you can choose to fax us your credit card information with signature using our form to complete the order.

Direct Wire Transfer

For wholesale order, large sum order, we recommend you to pay by wire transfers. Once you placed order using wire transfers, we will inform you the bank details by email then. Lucky Model will begin processing your order once our bank confirms receipt of full amount due (usually Inter-bank money transfers take 3 - 10 days).

Wire transfers are a service offered by every major bank in the world. You should understand the related costs on Wire Transfer beforehand as you are responsible for all the related costs, including a fee for the wire transfer service and all hidden charges that your home bank is charged by other routing banks during the wire transfer. Note that our bank does not charge additional fees and therefore you should ask your own bank about all charges (including hidden ones) that will be charged against the amount you wire.

Please ensure to wire enough to cover all charges so that the final net amount paid to Lucky Model equals the TOTAL amount of your order.

For large order, you will be asked to pay in advance only, using wire transfers, before we can ship out your merchandise and at the same time we will offer you a discount. This eliminates the risk of fraud due to stolen credit cards, the most common form of Internet fraud, in these transactions. Lucky Model reserves the right to insist on wire transfers depending on the dollar amount and the country in question.

Please note that we do not accept bank drafts or personal checks.

3. Product Availability

The product availability estimate refers to the time it will take the item to leave our fulfillment center once you place your order. The product availability will be shown on each detailed product description screen. The product availability will show as:

The listed availability might not be applicable for sudden increase in demand for an item. If any items in your order proved to be unavailable, we will inform you for details. All items from an order not in stock and with uncertain availability or discontinued items will not be backordered.

4. Shipping

Lucky Model offers you 3 shipping options:

a. SpeedPost by HK Post

b. Airmail by HK Post

c. Surface Mail by HK Post

The shipping transfer time is depending on the shipping option you choose, the destination and what items you order.

For examples, for USA, Canada or European countries, the shipping transfer days are estimated to be:

SpeedPost by HK Post: 2 to 4 business days

Airmail by HK Post: 6 to 14 business days

Surface Mail by HK Post: 1.5 to 3 months

Tips: Shorter shipping transfer days for Southeast Asia or Australia, while longer shipping transfer days for South America should be expected.

We may upgrade some of the Speedpost shipment to UPS Express, at LuckyModel's discretion.

Shipping and Handling Charges

Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the gross weight and the destination of your order, including package box and the packaging materials. You can select any option, and the system will show you the shipping charges on each detailed product description screen.

Tips: when you order multiple items, you are able to save the shipping cost as the shipping cost per kilogram decreases as the package gets heavier.

Delivering the best possible price on every item, including the shipping charges to our customers is our ultimate goal.

Delivery

In case your requested shipping address is different from your registered address with us, we will email you to reconfirm the address. There will be an additional fee to the buyer for incorrect or mistyped shipping addresses, which is charged by courier.

Please be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

All returned or refused shipments are subject to a 15% restocking fee to the buyer.

Insurance

When you are selected to ship via SpeedPost, your packages will be insured up to a certain amount. Shipment by airmail or surface mail will not be insured and at customers' own risk.

Lucky Model will not hold any responsibility after the package leaves the store. However, we will try our effort to trace and retrieve any potentially lost parcel. Most credit card companies will insure your transaction up to a certain value, please check with them for details.

5. Import Duty and Taxes

Custom policies vary from country to country. For example, there should be no import duty or taxes on plastic model kits for U.S. However, customers in other countries will usually have to pay import duty or taxes. Your orders may be subject to import duties and taxes and any additional charges for custom clearance and must be borne by you. Lucky Model has no control over these charges and does not assume responsibility for the ordered goods meeting local customs laws and duties and taxes. Taxation and import duties also might not be applied if customs does not inspect your package. When ordering from Lucky Model, you are considered as the importer of goods and must comply with all the laws and requirements of your country. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

If the package is refused and returned to us due to your refusal to pay customs tax and duties, you will be responsible for the return shipping charges and a re-stocking fee of 15% of your order amount. Shipping fees are not refundable. The remaining balance will then be refunded back to you.

6. Tracking your order

7. Return Policy

Returning Merchandise

We offer a MONEY-BACK guarantee. We give you money back or ship a replacement, if you are not satisfied with your purchases. Lucky Model's aim is to make the returns process as convenient and painless as possible. Within 21 days of the receipt of your order, you may return any item in new condition, in its original carton or packaging with all parts. Merchandise must be unopened to receive a refund. All authorized returns will be credited to your account, less original shipping charges. Apart from shipping damaged goods or incorrect shipments, we charge and deduct a 15% restocking fee on all items returned and will deduct it from your refund amount. No return or exchange for opened the products. Customer must pay for shipping on returns. Refused Shipments will also be charge 15% restocking fee and will be credited less shipping fees.

Before you send back the item, please inform us by sending us an email at support@luckymodel.com. Your email should include the order number, order date, your full name, email address, item code and a brief and accurate description of the problem. Items should then be returned in its original packaging and original unused and resalable condition.

Damaged Returns

If you receive items damaged via SpeedPost, please take the following steps to make a claim. If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery. If you have already accepted the delivery and then find shipping damage, please save all packaging material and documents and email us at support@luckymodel.com for assistance. We will then notify the shipping agent and take appropriate action to make the claim.

If you receive the package damaged via AirMail or Surface Mail – HK Post, you should inquire your local post office, showing them the damage (it is best if they witness you open the box), and filing a damage claim, as procedures vary country by country. Or you can contact us at support@luckymodel.com for assistance.

Lucky Model assumes no financial obligation for items received damaged. But, we will try best to help you to solve the problem.

8. Privacy Statement

We treat your personal information with the utmost respect. Lucky Model does not distribute, sell, rent or share your name and personal information to any third party. We do not share any statistics with any third-party vendors and will never provide any personal or specific information about the individuals who buy from us.

Your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than to send products or track orders, to improve your web experience with Lucky Model, to receive occasional e-mails which provide you with the latest modeling information, unless required by law or legal process. We only ask for the information we need to complete an order, to confirm the order, to confirm shipment of the order and to contact you: your name, email address, mailing address etc. Lucky Model will store the information, except credit card information for faster checkout process the next time. Note that we do not store your credit card information online for added security. The credit card information transfer is directly between you and our bank through secure server.

You can access and update the personal information you provided to Lucky Model. In order to protect you, Lucky Model takes steps to verify your identity before granting you access and update the private information by login with password.

Lucky Model gives users the options to remove their information from our database to not receive future communications on our products and modeling information.

9. Security

Lucky Model takes the security of our customers' information very seriously. We use the best technology in SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) secure server to ensure that your personal information remains private, secure and safe. Building on the latest .NET platform, a secure shipping cart and secure order pages are ensured.

LuckyModel.com does currently support the Verified by Visa program. With Verified by Visa, consumers can rest assured that using their Visa cards on the Web is just as safe as using it at a local merchant around the corner. Through the simple Verified by Visa checkout process, Visa card issuers confirm consumers' identities in real time during transactions at participating merchant sites. Verified by Visa is a unique service that uses personal passwords to help protect Visa card numbers against unauthorized use. Verified by Visa provides an extra level of protection for online shopping.

When you input your credit card number in the checkout process, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted form and not decoded until our bank receives it (where our bank stores the credit card information in secure servers as well). Please also note that we do not store your credit card information on our secure servers so as to provide maximum security for your personal information. All information transfer is directly between you and our bank through secure server.

10. Price, Shipping Charges and/or Description Changes and Typographical Error

Although, we do our best to ensure accuracy of site content, we do not guarantee site content. We reserve the right to change all prices, photos and descriptions at any time without notice. Lucky Model maintains no responsibility for unintentional errors.

In the event of the typographical error or incorrect information of pricing and product on our site, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders and correct any disparities at its sole discretion whether or not the order has been confirmed.

Before we ship any goods, we verify prices of products sold by Luckymodel.com. If there is discrepancy exists, we will contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

11. Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong and you and the Shop irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior written notice at any time, in Lucky Model's sole discretion.
